This is an easy whipped body butter you can make in your own kitchen using a few easily sourced ingredients that are great for keeping your skin soft and well nourished.
Body Butter Recipe
250g Mango Butter
250g Shea Butter
175ml Avocado Oil
6.5ml Essential Oils - Lavender, Rose Geranium and Frankincense

This body butter recipe is so easy and fun to make.
Put the Mango Butter and Shea Butter into a pan and melt - you can either use a double boiler or place a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water. You could be brave and melt the butters in a microwave.
Once the butters have melted add your Avocado Oil and stir well.
Allow to cool and then place in the fridge or freezer until the mixture looks like slush.
Now it's ready to whip using an electric whisk or if you are feeling full of energy you can use a hand whisk until it looks like whipped cream.
Once it is whipped transfer into clean jars with a lid.
Mango Butter is a great skin moisturiser, it hydrates skin, helps to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, relieves sun burn and reduces scarring.
Shea Butter also is a great skin moisturiser containing antioxidants, prevents cell damage and is good for eczema as it helps skin irritation. It makes a good protection from the sun.
Avocado Oil reduces aging of the skin being rich in fatty acids, vitamins A and E it's very moisturising and helps relieve the symptoms of psoriasis and acne. It's also known to help with the healing of wounds.
Lavender essential oil is very well known for skin healing, including mild burns, reduces scarring, treats acne, fungal and viral infections. It helps to promote the growth of collagen.
Rose Geranium essential oil, moisturises and balances skin tone. It acts as an astringent on the skin to remove dead skin cells and fades scars and stretch marks. It helps the skin to retain its youthful, healthy appearance.
Frankincense essential oil is one of the all time favourite oils for the skin as it helps with toning and the elasticity of skin, delaying aging by stimulating the production of collagen. It has amazing anti inflammatory properties, so may help reduce the pain of arthritic joints. It's said that Cleopatra used Frankincense on her skin!
